Easy Peasy Meadow Spritzer Mocktails

We drink a ton of elderberry syrup with seltzer— both the meadow mixer and the wellness syrup. Basically, it’s a fancy soda with a whole lot of vitamin c and the immune supporting benefits of elderberry.

Directions

  1. Combine the Meadow Mixer with the warm water and stir well to combine in a glass.

  2. Add ice, lemon twist, and seltzer, mixing gently.

  3. Garnish with the lemon wedge and rosemary.

  4. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Meadow Mixer

  • 1 tablespoon warm water

  • 8 oz seltzer

  • ice

  • lemon twist (option)

  • lemon wedge (optional)

  • sprig of rosemary (optional)


Mock Toddy

A little elderberry syrup, a lot of lemon, honey to your liking, and hot water. Perfect for the moment when you’re feeling rundown and want a little support. For an extra kick, add 1 oz fire cider!

directions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a hot mug and add a slice of lemon.

Elderberry Hot Toddy

A hot toddy is such a delight when you have a sore throat. add a little bit of elderberry, and maybe we’ll cancel out the immune depressing effects of alcohol with the immune supporting elements of elderberry? At the very least, it’s delicious.

directions

  1. Add all ingredients to your favorite mug and stir well to combine.

  • 1 oz whiskey or brandy

  • 1 tablespoon Meadow Mixer

  • juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 6 oz hot water (or to taste)

  • honey to taste

  • slice of lemon


Black Magic Nocino Elderberry Spritz

THis cocktail is dramatically colored and delightfully balanced, reminiscent of cola. this is a good one for people who don’t like a lot of bitterness or bite to their cocktails. highly drinkable!

Directions

  1. Combine the Nocino, Meadow Mixer, and coffee in the glass of your choice and stir well to combine. Add ice to your preference.

  2. Top with your preference of Prosecco and seltzer. More Prosecco will make a stronger and sweeter cocktail. More seltzer will make for a dryer, less alcoholic drink.

  3. Garnish with blackberries on a toothpick for effect.

Ingredients

  • 1 oz Nocino amaro

  • 2 teaspoons Meadow Mixer

  • 1/8 tsp black coffee or espresso

  • 2 oz dry Prosecco (or to taste)

  • 2 oz seltzer (or to taste)

  • Ice to taste

  • Blackberries for garnish (optional)


Elderberry Aperol Spritz

This is my favorite of the elderberry cocktails and a staple in our house. The citrus notes of the meadow mixer compliment the orange flavors in aperol. combined, they produce a delightfully pink drink.

directions

  1. Combine Aperol and Meadow Mixer a tall glass. Add ice.

  2. Top with Prosecco and a splash of seltzer.

  3. Garnish with orange.

  • ice

  • 3 oz Aperol

  • 1 tsp Meadow Mixer

  • 3 oz dry Prosecco

  • 1 oz seltzer

  • orange slice for garnish (opt)
